Events Fourth Session of the Nishitani Keiji Workshop on the Philosophy of Religion: Nishitani Keiji “The Standpoint of Zen”

The workshop will focus on the text “The Standpoint of Zen” contained in the volume Essays on Religion (『宗教論集II』), pp. 5-31 (English translation by J. Maraldo in “The Standpoint of Zen,” The Eastern Buddhist 17-1 (1984)). The workshop aims to analyze the interpretation of Zen offered in the essay, contextualizing and elaborating it in relation to Nishitani's thought. All participants, in person or connected remotely, are invited to actively participate in the discussions that will follow the presentations.
